Hello Aquatics friends,
We have replaced our yellow A frame signs with yellow cones. The yellow cones are to let SMAC swimmers know which lanes are available for lap swimming. Ideally you will place a yellow cone on the lanes that are best for lap swimming at that time of day. All SMAC Aquatics staff can help make this work. We need to train the swimmers to know that “all lanes with a yellow cone are available!” Coaches, swim instructors and guards can move the cones before the start of a practice or lesson. These are a big improvement over the A frame signs (sturdier and easier to stack) so let’s use them every hour of every day and help our members find a lane! Any questions or suggestions please let me know.
See you all tomorrow 7pm at Dave and Busters. This is not a mandatory meeting – it is an Appreciation Dinner! We will have a lot of fun. The guards & coaches scheduled to work on Friday night will be paid for their regular shifts even though the pool closes at 6:30pm. All others will get free food, chocolate fondue bar and game tickets! See ya there!
I will be off on Friday & Saturday and at the Hillsdale Mall with Kacee, Tyler and Eric on Sunday. We are promoting all of our Summer Programs to the families of San Mateo.
